Yet Another Kindergarten Registration Question

Did your district send you any paperwork to fill out or did you just get the info of what was needed off your districts website and show up with that documentation?

I called my future district(it's Pat-Med) and the school said that paperwork would go out(not sure if it's the same I read on the website) and said I should be getting it(this was a month ago). I asked how I would get it, they don't know that my child will be coming to their district and then they asked for my address. I still haven't gotten anything, registration is March 1st so I called about 10 days ago and they said it wasn't sent out yet. Now I'm beginning to wonder since registration is 20 days away.

I gave my name and address and got a packet in the mail.

Did you preregister on their website. Not sure if your district does but ours has you go on in the fall and preregister then they have an idea of who will be registering in Jan. They have all the registration facts, details and paperwork right there.

I got it off the website. I received a letter in the mail directing me there for the paperwork (I already have a child in the district).

I called gave my name and address and was sent a packet..I was given an appointment to go in and give everything in.

Mine gave me the option of downloading the paperwork off the district web site or having them mail it to me. I chose to download it myself and then brought everything they asked (including the copies they specified).

I called the school and asked what I had to do for Kindergarten and they told me the process and sent me a packet that day. I filled it out and brought it into the office when I was done.
