How to lose 3 pounds a week in a healthy way
I have been working out at the gym 4-5 days a week. One hour of cardio, the arc trainer at an incline of 15-30 and then I do arm weights one day and leg weights the next. Abs I try to do every day. However, I am always on a time limit bc I have to go pick up my son at my parents. Anyway, I have something huge coming up and I have lost only a few pounds. I'm probably gaining muscle that's why. I really want to lose 25 pounds by the end of April. I also use lean shake protein shakes 1-2 times a day and eat small healthy snacks. I really have to up my game!!!! What can I do to lose this weight in 8 weeks!!??

I haven't been able to stick to it, but I heard that cutting way back on carbs and any kind of processed food is the way to go.
I need to gain the willpower!!!
I know a few people who've done those cleanse diets but I am not so sure how healthy they are and personally, I'd rather put the money towards real food!

drink lots of water and change up your workout even if you are doing enough already...do something different or go faster on the machine etc.

i highly doubt you are gaining muscle, it takes A LOT more to do that especially for women. I think if your goal is to lose weight then you need to focus more on the food part. I always saw the most difference in my weight when I increased my protein intake and drastically cut down sugar and processed food as someone mentioned above.
are you tracking your food? how much protein, fat, and carbs are you eating?

I have to agree with the eating habit...it all my years of exercising, I am the leanest & smallest I've EVER been (& this after 2 kids). I have changed how I eat! I was always a healthy eater & watched how I prepared my meals...but I've changed even more and 90-95% of the time I stick to whole foods, processes foods to a minimal, portions, small portions of grain carbohydrates.
(For me, I can't do 100% non-processed & I'm happy with that)

It's all eating. And you don't gain muscle that easy. You have to really work out and severely change your diet to do that.
Losing weight is 95% diet so look at what you are eating.

I have to agree with the other ladies - most of it is about the food you eat.
After having DD and staying home for over a year, I was really desperate to get back into shape. The first thing we did was re-vamp our entire diet. Making small changes can make big difference and I added a Shakeology shake to my diet once a day, which provided me with tons of vitamins and nutrients. Coupled with a cleaner diet, home workouts (I couldn't get to the gym) and small tweaks to how we ate and what we ate, I found that I was losing the weight and getting fit and everything was sustainable.
