Sharp pain on and off in the upper, right side of my abdomen

What could tis be? It's right below my ribcage, it's on and off, sometimes it's steady for a few secs or minute or so and sometimes it's almost like pulsing , but it's pretty sharp.
Not sure what it could be , any ideas? I will have to do something about it if it doesn't go away, but for now I'm dealing with it

Gas?

Its weird because I have a similar pain in my left side!

On Sat-I felt this weird pulsing fluttering twice, and now its just a dull ache. Not sure what it is but it seems to be getting better. Ive also had a cold so I though maybe I pulled a muscle from coughing!

gas, appendix, gallbladder...if you start feeling nauseous or feverish definitely go to a doctor.

Could be gallbladder. EspeciAlly if the pain radiates to the back right shoulder blade area. I developed gallstones shortly after giving birth which I hear is pretty common. I just has my gallbladder removed yesterday. Def get it checked out. If this is what's going on, the attacks are no joke... Don't wait until you are keeled over in pain for 8 hours

this....I waited too long and the pain was so awful..
