Anyone else a nervous wreck?
After so many failed cycles and one miscarriage- I am pregnant again. I anxiously await my weekly RE appointments, and dread them at the same time. I'm petrified I will have another miscarriage. Last one was an empty sac. Going tomorrow for sono and beta. I just don't know hot to turn my mind off and relax

Re: Anyone else a nervous wreck?
This was me .. I have a history that pretty much goes the distance between infertility and losses, my first one being at 17 1/2 weeks. Until I got to that point I was SO stressed thinking about the 'what ifs'. Now finally at 21wks I'm still nervous but nothing like how I was. I think if you have any kind of history it's hard not to just turn your head off because you know better. You're not coming from some naive frame of mind where all pregnancies move on gleefully and everything is merry and bright. I just told myself over and over that I was being monitored by the best out there and I was doing all I could. Unfortunately, even this pregnancy didn't come without some heartache. My baby boy started out as two baby boys but we lost his twin early on. It is what it is .. you just have to be so grateful for each day you could go to sleep and tell yourself "Today, I am pregnant". You don't want to spend your whole pregnancy worrying because one day you'll look back and wish you enjoyed those precious moments more.

Re: Anyone else a nervous wreck?
It's near impossible to turn off the nerves. I am 22w, and I still stress everyday over the possibility something could go wrong.

I'm 26 weeks and still have these nagging worry feelings that I wish I didn't have. I wasn't feeling well earlier this week with almost blacking out shortness of breath, and unsteady balance. This was due to dehydration and a UTI and before I knew what was wrong I started worrying about "what ifs". It was going through these symptoms and being scared that I learned DH has been holding onto fears of things going wrong too. I am so looking forward to having this baby, holding him, and EXHALING!

25 1/2 weeks here and still a neurotic nervous wreck! and full time bed rest doesn't help at all- just gives you more time to worry I call it normal after dealing w IF

Re: Anyone else a nervous wreck?
You are definitely not alone. I had 2 m/c and so many failed IUI's and IVF's when I was PG with DD I was a wreck for a long time. I started to relax more and more after the milestones (12W NT Scan, 16w, 20w, etc) Good luck!!!
