If you are placing this dog on your own make sure to thoroughly check the placement out. Rescues that place dogs have a whole system set up for checking potential adopters.

If you can, get their vet. Information and call the vet. Tell them you will be calling the vet. Ask the vet how they care for their animals, if they are fixed, etc. If they Are good candidates for adoption.

Also be sure that everyone that lives in the house the dog is going to is on board with the adoption....are there kids or other pets in the house? Etc. Are those animals fixed?

I have a ton of info for you if you are the one adopting out but if you are using a rescue they will/should do this for you. If you are placing the dog, let me know and I will help you.

Just an update for Monday:
No change, Waiting for Tracy's Dogs to get back to us. They want to take him to Naperville, IL (he loves snow so this may work for himi). This is who the local SATX rescue put us in contact with.

Doggie is in the care of the shelter who is holding him before delivery to Tracy's Dogs. They are not putting him down. (yes I know we all hear this but I have to believe and they are holders if you will for that rescue.)
