Voluteering at animal shelters
Saw post on voluteering and funny, this is what i am doing for July. I called LIPP (long Island Pet Professionals- Nancy Hassel), and asked for a list of shelters on LI.
Please feel free to call her for list
of shelters to help at.
I was at Kent Animal shelter this w/e. It really does break your heart to see the furbabies in cages. I walked & played with some (yuuup in all that heat on Sunday) and will possibly adopt one.....jack was sniffing my clothes all over when i cam home

 That's fantastic that you did this! I just don't know how I could NOT go home with all of them, ya know? This is something I'd really like to do, but I just don't know how to go about it.

I totally agree... I admire so much all of the people who volunteer...
But I know there is no way I could leave with out one or all of them in the back of my truck! 
I donate money when I can, but still feel guilty that I can't do more.

i sooo hea yra... wanted to bring them home
they are well cared for, just need human time...
I would be happy to work with you if you want to come out to Kent on a sunday. Just give them a call.
