"Marble" notebooks
One item on DD's school supply list is 4 marble notebooks. Do they just mean "composition" books? Or do they have the be the "marble" design? Because I bought her 4 different colored glitter composition books. But now I'm thinking they may not really want them...that they may truly want "marble" books...maybe so there's not competition between the kids. I don't know.
What do you think? If need be, I'll go get her 4 new books, and just keep these at home for her to use.

Yes, they probably mean marble, wide ruled.
I've seen the b/w and colored marble and still stuck with the b/w for uniformity. With 2 DC's in the same grade it would have been easier for me to get two different colors.

Re: "Marble" notebooks
I think alot of teachers use marble and composition interchangeably. If they specifically wanted b/w marble, I think they would have specified just that. I would think you would be ok with the glitter ones! Maybe you can send a quick email just to be sure!
Im jealous that you have your supply list already!

Re: "Marble" notebooks
I always buy colored marble/composition notebooks. Never been an issue with the teachers. The inside is the same!

Re: "Marble" notebooks
I get two different color marble notebooks so it is easy for my DS to determine which one is for which subject.

Re: "Marble" notebooks
My son's school supply list specifies "black" for K and then different colors for other grades.

Re: "Marble" notebooks
I would think it's fine. They would probably specify if they wanted something specific. They probably just don't want spiral bound notebooks.

Re: "Marble" notebooks
I would assume it just meant composition.

Re: "Marble" notebooks
Most likely they will color the edges of the book with a color and refer to it as their "red" writing book - or something like that.

Re: "Marble" notebooks
Our list said Marble Composition books.
I got him a pkg of different color marble books. I felt like the list was pretty detailed that if the teachers really only wanted b/w it would have said that specifically.

Re: "Marble" notebooks
My kids have specific colored composition books for different subjects. Truly annoying when you can get a b&w one for .50 yet the colored ones are over 2.00 each.
