consignment sales
Is ChickenKidz the best one? I am looking to sell some gently used designer kids clothing. I considered having a garage sale but that may be tough on me physicially. I also love the idea that people selling can shop at a pre-sale day at the consignment sale. What's it like and is it worth a trip to Riverhead for someone who is not local to there? I am especially interested in hearing from sellers.

I didn't sell, I went to shop and it was jam packed with stuff. Their venue is way too small IMO. It was hard to move around. Hopefully they move from the Polish Center to another venue. I think if you price your stuff to sell, you will do well. She advertises heavily, and when I went it was packed! Unfortunately a lot of sellers mark their prices way too high, so they probably don't do as well.

Not a seller but have shopped @ Riverhead one & it was great.tons of shoppers & great deals I went on a Sunday when everything was 50% off..Price your goods right & they will sell.I think if you work the event you get a higher % back.
