Ganglion Cyst
Has anyone ever had one on their wrist? I am in so much pain, nothing is working...

Go to an Orthopedist. They will inject it with Cortisone and then apply pressure to break it up. It hurts for a second , but then it's gone.

I think I will do that, thank you. I am in so much pain. Its so big I think it is on a nerve :(
Doesnt help I am at work, typing with that wrist/hand all day :(

I had one in my wrist many years ago. It was more up attractive than painful. Had it drained by an orthopedist.....never came back again.

thanks! I went to the dr this morning, she drained it. wow, that hurt a lot.
Hopefully it will feel better soon.

I had one on my wrist. It went away when I fell snowboarding one year.
They also call them bible bumps because they used to just smack them with a bible and it would disapper.

My dh had one removed in january...he went to an ortho. It can come back tho and his already did

I had one last spring and it went away on its own. They are known to do that. And, yes, people did use a Bible to whack them and pop them open, odd as that sounds.

My husband had one removed by Dr. Facibene. That one never came back but another popped up on his other wrist. He had that one drained and it hasn't come back.

My DH gets one on his wrist and our doc recommended hitting it with a book. Haven't used the Bible yet, though.
