Breast up or down?
Are you cooking your bird breast up or down? Does cooking the turkey breast down do anything?

Breast up or down?
I heard on HLN on Sirius, a lot of people do breast done bc all of the juices run into the breast, making it jucier. One host said his grandma used to cook it breast up and the last hour do it breast down, he said it was amazing. I am not cooking so I can't answer that part.

I cook breast side down and towards the end flip it over to let the other side get nice and brown.

I've always cooked it breast up, covered in foil. Foil comes off for the last hour to brown the skin.
I do not want to flip a hot bird.

The only time I cooked Thanksgiving dinner, I accidentally cooked it breast side down. Don't ask how, I have no idea. I am obviously not the worlds best cook and I didn't even know that was a "thing." But, I have to say, the turkey was really moist and tasted great!
