Soooo frustrated....
I am so sick of this process (as i'm sure all of you are) but today takes the cake.
This is our last IUI before IVF mainly because our insurance will not cover any more IUIs. Clearly they are not working so I think its a good thing that were forced to move on.. We have been avoiding injectibles because we are completely OOP for meds and that would run us upwards of $1000 as opposed to $50 for clomid. This month they put me on 200 of clomid (same as last month where I made 5 follies) and I just got back from my day 13 sono and I have ONE lousy follicle (and its not even that big ) Even dr. Stelling was surprised. He gave me the whole "all you need is one" speech but I basically tuned it out at that point... What are the odds....
I hate Clomid (and its crazy, mood swing side effects)
I hate Infertility
I hate that EVERYONE I know is getting pregnant right now
I hate that I am being so negative, but I can't help it.... 
Vent over...

I know how you feel. You never know how your body will respond to the meds. After many failed cycles with clomid, switched to femara. My first with that, I had 5 follies. My second? Just one. And in the wrong side. And that was my last covered IUI. So yup, I get it. Frustrating isn't strong enough a word!

I know injectables are more expensive than Clomid, but IVF is more expensive than IUIs with injectables. Why wouldn't you try it at least once? I got much better stims on injectables and that's how I got my BFP. $1k is still better than $10k or whatever. Just a thought.

Uhh I'm with you. IF totally sucks. EVERYONE is preg or ha kids arounf me too.
I did 3 clomid IUIs no real side effects. Then I was hoping doing IUI with injects would work- it didn't- we did 2 of those cycles. Now I been on the crazy IVF train for a while.
Something will work in the end, but unfortunately this is one crazy journey. Hang in there.
