Would this frosting need refrigeration?
Recipe:
8 oz. of Fluff 3/4 c. softened butter powdered sugar and vanilla to taste (probably about 1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar and a 1/2 t. of vanilla)
Im thinking its fine to leave out overnight at least right? It's to be served tomorrow for dessert.

I would probably refrigerate it. Even if it would be ok taste-wise, I would worry about the frosting falling apart or melting if left out.

Personally I would think it would be OK to leave out if you can keep it in a room that's not too warm.
Like when I have cupcakes, I leave them out but put them in my basement that is cooler than the rest of the house. I've never had a problem.

yes you can leave it out. I'd be nervous about the fluff hardening in the fridge.

I did a test one in the fridge and yes, it did get hard (like taffyish). Luckily I ended up keeping the rest out and they were great. I ended up using it to fill the cupcakes and used a pioneer woman vanilla frosting to top them. Thanks!
