BPA free cans of tomato paste?
Does this exist? I don't buy canned goods, but I do use tomato paste often when cooking. I can't find a BPA free line at my local grocery, but am willing to make a trip if anyone knows where I can find them. Thanks!

Re: BPA free cans of tomato paste?
Lucky. I haven't been able give up canned beans or canned tomatoes. So unfortunately we still eat out of a lot of cans. However, tomato paste comes in tubes!!! Most of those are supposedly BPA free. Maybe whole foods would have some cans that are bpa free.

I would check out Muir Glen. They were the first to come to mind and I checked amazon and found this review from 2011 saying they were in the process of switching to an alternative to bpa.

Their canned tomatoes are bpa free so I'm sure the paste is too. They carry that line at stop and shop in the organic section.

I only use the tube tomato paste. Since a little goes a long way. I always used to waste the can paste too much paste.

Bionaturae sells it in glass little jars. I find it at Wild By Nature! I was more than excited to see this.
If not tomato paste, any tomato passata (puree) from Italy in the glass jars is great. I trust them to be GMO free since they're EU products. I like Pummaro` and Star brands.
