How heavy of an outfit will dd need in mid September?

Btdt: Fall take home outfits
DD was born in april so similar weather in that it can be warm or pretty cool depending on the day. We did a cute footed sleeper with a hat and I just packed a lightweight and a heavy blanket with the carseat so I could pick depending on the weather.

DS was end of September and weather varies greatly but mostly cool and comfortable. Some days can be warm though. We did a cotton footed button up outfit with a light hat. We brought a warm blanket with us just in case.

DD was born in December and we bundled her up, walked outside and it was hot!! Lol (too hot for what she was wearing) I say bring 2 choices September can go either way. Or better yet do a lightweight outfit you can always throw a blanket over her...

My DD was born mid September. I just bought a little cotton onesie set. It had pants, a little hat, and a light blanket. It was perfect. September is still pretty warm so I wouldn't get anything too heavy.

DD was born in the begining of April so it was a little chilly.

My ds was born on dec 28th and we brought him him in pants and a tee. It was 60 I think. Play it by ear cause you will never know what the weather will be

I agree!
September is really just the tail end of summer and generally pretty warm. I don't think you will need anything heavy. I would get something with a coordinating lightweight blanket. I have gotten all my "coming home" outfits at Bloomingdale's for each of my dc. They have a nice selection and usually have the matching accessories.

I bought jacks at Carter's. It was a onesie with feeted pants and a jacket. Alex came home in something similar without the feet.
