BTDT Mommies of Boys: Must-haves for first days at home
I think I probably have everything I need for the most part, but I am still making myself crazy that I don't.
Also, I am planning on bottle-feeding. I have an assortment of sizes from Dr. Brown's but only 4 of the smallest size bottles. Should I buy more of them?
Cotton balls, vaseline, gauze for circumcision----do they give these to you at the hospital or should I just go buy them?

if you are bottle feeding you will only need the small bottles for now. DS only recently started drinking 5 or 6 oz. at each feeding and he is 12 weeks old.
the only thing i used cotton balls for were cleaning DS's eyes or face, and q-tips for his ears. they will give you gauze and vaseline at the hospital to use for his circumcision, i would try and take as much as you can because you use a new piece of gauze at every diaper change. i remember thinking that the gauze they used at the hospital was a lot like a dryer sheet (they actually used the same thing as wipes too)
make sure you have vaseline on hand, but i wouldn't buy gauze until you see how much you can take home from the hospital. you will only have to use it for a week or 2 - it heals very quickly.
