Party Times
I’m trying to plan my husband’s 50th birthday party.
Which would you prefer:
Saturday afternoon
Saturday night
Sunday afternoon
I’m torn. I’d rather Saturday night but wanted to get opinions. Obviously the afternoon is cheaper

Is this an adults only party? If so, Sat night would be my first choice. Sunday afternoon second. If it will include kids too, Sun afternoon would be my first choice

Exactly what I was thinking! Saturday night if no kids, Sunday afternoon if including kids. I actually prefer Saturday afternoon with kids but usually choose Sunday bc a lot of people in my family work Saturdays.

I always think Saturday is a better party day than Sunday, given that most people work on Monday. I know my DH -- and to a lesser extent me -- like to be home by late afternoon on a Sunday to relax, make dinner, get ready for week ahead.

Party Times
Saturday afternoon if there are kids. Saturday night if there are no kids.
I personally prefer Saturdays over Sundays regardless because I like to have Sundays to relax before going back to work or I feel like I never had a break.
