Newborn diapers?
I got so many diapers from the hospital and my shower, we didn't buy anyyet. Hospital put them right into size 1s which we will buy when we run out. Wait until after your shower.

Newborn diapers?
Before DD was born, we bought 1 pack of newborns and 1 pack of size 1's. Then we bought more newborns after DD was born because she was tiny. I'd guess we go through about 10 a day. But it's hard to say how long she'll be in them. So, we buy as we go. We ended up with extras in every size with DD1 because we had to switch sizes when she started leaking and having blowouts. It didn't coincide with the weight ranges.

Both DD and DS were in newborn diapers for at least a month. They were both born a little less than 7 lbs.
