App & dessert that is gluten AND dairy free?
For an app, you can do tostitos with salsa or guacamole, veggies and nut thin crackers with hummus, mixed nuts, shrimp cocktail.
For dessert, all I can think of are fruit salad or sorbet. Pinterest has a lot of recipes but I'm not sure how good most are. A chia seed pudding would be another idea.

Dessert - peanut butter cookies (makes 18)
Preheat oven at 350
1 egg
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Mix everything well and make 1 inch balls with the dough. (If it's too sticky to handle, refrigerate it for 10 - 15 minutes). Bake for 10 minutes. And that's it!

rice krispie treats
coconut macaroons
gluten free brownies (Betty crocker has a great mix and people never know they're GF)
for apps - like others have said, Tostitos blue corn chips with salsa and guacamole is GF.
You can also make lots of things GF very easily...Like cocktail meatballs. Just use GF bread crumbs instead of regular breadcrumbs. Tastes the same.
