Sports Training-Conditioning program for Special Needs/ADHD

I'm excited to share this because I'm always looking for weekend programs that are geared toward our kids who need some special attention! There's a new one called More Than a Gym in Westbury. I brought DS for an assessment and the director is so sweet and enthusiastic. She played with DS for a while and I got an idea of some of the things they will be doing like t-ball and soccer exercises, obstacle courses, riding a bike, etc. DS really liked her and had so much fun he didn't want to leave. This program is perfect for him because he has difficulty focusing and following directions and also needs to work on social skills. And perfect timing so our kids can have some indoor fun this winter! This class is a Sports Training/Conditioning combo for ages 3 and up. She's really nice! I think the kids are going to enjoy it. The smile on DS face as he was trying new things was priceless. It will be great to see him interacting with other kids once the program starts.
