Down coat "shedding"?

I have a bunch of down coats and they all seem to shed feathers that stick to my sweaters. It's so annoying. Even my high end designer coats do the same.

I love down coats, but I hate looking like a plucked chicken lol. Has this happened to anyone else and is there a way to prevent this?

It happened with every coat I owned until this year. I finally gave in and spent the $$ to get a Northface. A few feathers here and there, mainly from the front of the arm folds. But nothing on my clothes.

Last year, with my old jacket, my black gloves looked like white fuzzy gloves from keeping them in my pockets lol I couldn't stand it. Feathers everywhere

Down coat

I used to have down coats. Got rid of them all for this reason. I couldn't stand having feathers everywhere.
So annoying!
