Jury Duty
So I got the summons for jury duty starting the 23rd
I have a c-sect scheduled for 3/2
Do you think the the dr will give me a medical not to get out of it or should I just postpone it ?

Your going to end up serving in 6 months if you postpone it. I'd probably go and if they are interviewing you for a trial looking 8 months pregnant they will probably dismiss you

Ita. Get it over with. They'll dismiss you anyway. If you postpone it then you'd have to go back while having a toddler and a newborn.

Just go!!
I got a summons when I was 36 weeks pregnant. I went and the let me leave after about 3 hours and now I'm good for 7 years. Once they saw my belly they wanted nothing to do with me.

Show up and get it over with. Tell them you are due soon and they will dismiss you. They don't want to put you on a case if it will stress you or send you into labor.
ETA, if postpone and they call you in a few mo you will also be excused by sending your DCs birth cert in.

I would go, once they see how pregnant you are they will dismiss you. They could just postpone you for another 6 months down the line. I believe you can only use a birth certificate to get out of it only if you don't work FT.

LOL- walk in and tell them you are having some contractions.
They will toss you out and then you are good for the next 7 years or whatever!
