Does anyone use this? I got one and it works great, but I want to use it all the time! Has anyone asked their doctor if it is ok to use?

Re: Angelsounds Doppler
I borrowed one from my cousin with my first pregnancy. I used it a couple of times a week. It really did work well, considering how cheap it was! It actually lasted through 4 pregnancies too - her 3 and my 1.
I just bought myself a Sonoline for this pregnancy.
I never asked my doctor about it because I didn't want him to say no! I think the consensus is that it's safe and fine, but very easy to miss the baby's hb, especially before 20 weeks, and they don't want women freaking out and being upset, running to their offices for a sono for what turns out to be no good reason. So they tend to discourage it, I think. But like I said, I didn't ask.

I used it for my first pregnancy and used it again this one. This time I only really used it in the first trimester since now I feel movement as reassurance.
As for it being safe, it's fine. Drs do not recommend using them bc when people can't find the HB they freak out for no reason.
