Yeast Infection?
I've been on antibiotics for a few days now and of course developed a yeast infection on top of already feeling crumby. I noticed it about wed night but cant get an apt with my ob until sat morning (tomm). this shouldn't be harming the baby right? if you had a yeast infection while pregnant what did the doctor give you? I have a throbbing/ pulse like feeling down there. TIA!

Re: Yeast Infection?
Monistat 7 is on my safe list (not the 1 or 3 day treatments, though). I used it this pregnancy when i was on antibiotics and got a yeast infection. Didn't bother with going to OB.

Yeast Infection?
make sure you drink plenty of kefir or other probiotic to combat the antibiotic and fight infection with good bacteria

Re: Yeast Infection?
You can use an over the counter one. My Dr. said any of the ones that are 3 or 7 day. Unfortunately the over the counter kind made mine worse so the Dr. prescribed an insert cream.
My first pregnancy I would get them very often so I tried many different natural ways, which all didn't work. And that included the frozen yogurt tampon and cloves of garlic.
Like I said...I tried it all.
