Winthrop L&D visitor rules
Just out of curiosity, wondering if the "rules" are still the same. When I gave birth to DD in 2012 we were told that only the spouse and your mid-wife/doula could be in L&D when you are laboring. Is it still the same?

Winthrop L&D visitor rules
When I delivered there in 2012 I had my DH and my SIL. They didn't even kick my SIL out. She just remained in there without being questioned. I was in so much pain to care.

I just got the registration packet from Winthrop. You're allowed your spouse and one other person (a doula, your mother, your sister, etc.). So 2 people total can be there with you.

But no one can come in even to say hi once admitted correct? Unless they are staying for labor?

In October 2014 you could have visitors once you were admitted but I think one at a time. My mom came back then my dad. While delivering tho only significant other plus one other person

Just a heads up... I had a kid there in 2012. Was just there last month and when the baby is born they didnt have any restriction on visitors hours. I was shocked rules changed that much.

Wow! I too had #1 in 2012 and DH had to leave by 10pm.
