Keep hydrated. If you aren't well hydrated, you aren't going to get any blood. Also, squeeze your finger to "push" some more out.... you don't need much blood for the finger prick.

Make sure the thing (I forget what it's called) is pushing against the side of your finger and squeeze after pricking.

Yes, make sure you use the side of your finger and maybe adjust the lancet device to the next level.

Alternate fingers. I found my fingertips calloused really bad if I pricked it too much and made it hard to draw blood.

Can you turn the lancet up - I used to have to keep mine between 8-10. I have poor circulation and low blood pressure so not sure if that affected but I had to squeeze my finger and use a pretty sharp prick ugh.

yes, warm up your finger first with warm water, then drop your entire hand down by your side for a min. Massage your finger then use the pen to prick. Try and keep you finger relaxed. Let me know how it works

Re: not getting enough blood from finger prick?
-Massage the finger first, pushing the blood towards the tip of your finger. -Make sure you are pricking on the side of your finger, not the center of the tip. I used to prick not just off center but really on the side of my fingertip- if that makes sense! -Increase the level of the lancet, it might not be pricking deep enough. -Make sure you are pushing down on your finger as you prick it. -Make sure you are switching fingers each time. -I eventually learned that certain fingers were better than others as far as getting a "good" drop of blood. Hope that helps!
