Outside monitoring with an OBGYN? Here's the situation: I'm seeing Dr. T in the city - already been through 3 RE's on LI that can't help my case. I was attempting to alleviate stress by getting monitoring done locally, as I live in eastern Suffolk County, so the trip to the city isn't exactly ideal. I tried going through LI IVF, which does do monitoring services locally, however my insurance requires pre-authorization for infertility services and only one doctor can be pre-authorized. The only way to get around this is for the outside monitoring doc to code billing as OBGYN services, which LI IVF won't do because they are specialists and don't use regular billing codes for sono and bloodwork. Ugh. Does anyone know of an OBGYN's office that will do monitoring? I figured I'd ask before I start making phone calls.

I don't have any experience with this , but maybe also look into getting monitored by more of a diagnostic place like a Zwanger ?
