What to expect

As far as d&c's go? Can anyone share a story of hope of a quick pregnancy after? Is it true that you are much more fertile after?

So sorry :(. The d&c itself was fine. I was anxious leafing up to it but it's quick and basically painless. I did have spitting for almost 4 wks after but I think that's unusual. My af arrived I think 6 weeks after but dr said 4-6 is normal. As for pregnancy, dr wanted us to wait one full cycle so we started trying I guess in march again snd I just got pregnant in beginning of June. Not pregnant right away but no long- considering we tried for about a year before the miscarrage, 4 months was pretty good ;). Best of luck to you. Again, sorry for your loss

You are not necessarily more fertile after a D&C that's a myth. Reason why most OBs will tell you to wait a fully cycle or 2 is because your hormones are out of wack. I suggest waiting 2-3 cycles to regulate everything.
