Cost of utilities?
What is the average monthly costs of utilities in Nassau I should be budgeting in? Thanks in advance for any replies.

These are my bills for a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom ranch 1500 sq feet plus basement.
Electric - $170 (but I work from home) balanced billing
Gas (cooking, hot water, heat) - $130 balanced billing
Cable (fios...tv, internet, phone) - $120
alarm - $90 every 3 months
water - $170 every 3 months in the summer...otherwise its $40 but I have American Water

Cost of utilities?
4 bedroom,, 2 bath cape w/ inground pool & pump in summer + full basement:
electric : $100/month (lower in winter, more in summer w/ pool & ac's)
gas : (cooking, heat, hot water) $50 spring/summer/fall when no heat is on, $150-200 in winter, kept at 68* all day (we need to replace some insullation, which should reduce that price, also when we can lower the heat to 64* during the day, it remains around $100-150)
Cable : $150 (Optimum)
Water : $50 every 6 months

I'm in Suffolk. Not sure if it really matters. High ranch, with pool. Sahm so everything is on all day.
Electric- $360 (in summer) we have 5 air conditioners and pool filter. $250 rest of the year
Gas (heat,stove and hot water) $300 during the winter
$125 in the warm months.
Fios- $220 we have a big package and 4 tvs
Water- $180 for the summer months, about $50 a month rest of the year.

Cost of utilities?
I'm also in Suffolk. 5BR, 3 BA, no pool, no CAC 4 window units.
Electric - We have solar now, but before it was $250 a month on balance billing, and we owed at the end of the year.
No Gas
Oil $500/month Oct-Mar (we will be replacing our oil burner this year, cost should reduce a little. Gas is not an option for us.)
FIOS $215/month everything
Water $85 2x spring/summer, $45 fall/winter

Suffolk - 3BR, 2BA 1200ish sq. ft. high ranch w/ finished basement, CAC, and AGP.
Electric - Ranges from $130-$180/month on balanced billing
Oil - $150/month on balanced billing
Cablevision - $160/month w/ internet booster, SHO, ENC, and Starz, 1 DVR
Water - $20-$30 every 3 months except in Summer months when it's $80 for 3 months.

Cost of utilities?
Utilities vary greatly. You can have the exact same house as some one but usage and the way a house is insulated can change things greatly.
So use these estimates loosely.
