Tripped
Hi girls. This morning I tripped over my laptop cord. I didn't fall, but I stumbled pretty hard. I got a bad cramp on my right side right after but it's since gone away. Baby has moved since it happened. No bleeding or anything like that. Would you call the OB?

Re: Tripped
Why do these things always happen on a Friday? I slipped down the last 2 steps at work (on a Friday and my OB office is closed on the weekends). I panicked and called my doctor, they understood I needed that piece of mind especially for the weekend, and took me in right away.
If you feel like you need that piece of mind Doppler check or sono, then go ahead and call.

Oh no! I'm glad everything worked out.
I called. They offered to get me in but she said that as long as I wasn't bleeding or having contractions and didn't hit the floor she wasn't concerned at all. I probably just stretched some muscles.
This kid has been moving up a storm (I actually just SAW her kick from the outside for the first time) so that is reassuring as well

Tripped
I wouldn't have even thought twice about a stumble. I fell flat on my a$$ down about 5 stairs when I was about 8 weeks preggo, freaked out, but it was too early to do anything... DS is 9+ months old and fast asleep upstairs in his crib.
