Has anyone else tripped while pregnant? *UPDATE* Updated again- baby is PERFECT!
I tripped on the steps at work today. It wasn't a full blown fall.. I tripped on a step and caught myself with one hand on the banister and the other on the step. I'm sure it's fine, but it just shook me up a little 
Has this happened to anyone else? I'm not going to bother calling the dr because I know he will say it will be fine...... I think the worry is the worst part.

OMGGG I just went to the bathroom and I see blood. It looks just like my period. I'm freaking out and emailing my RE now. I am 10 weeks today, this feels like a nightmare about to happen.

Final Update: We just got back from the RE. He doesn't know the cause of the bleeding because he didn't see anything that could have caused it on the sono... but the baby looked totally perfect and the dr said he wasn't impacted at all!!! (I assume it's a boy so I always call him "he"   )
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYONE'S PRAYERS AND WELL WISHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am just so relieved. When I saw the blood I felt like the whole world was turning upside down.
Everyone's support has meant so much!!

I had a full blown fall last Friday and landed on my knees. My belly hit my knees but not too hard. I had to go to the dr. to be monitored and that was only b/c my belly hit. If your belly did not hit you are fine. Thank god LO is fine my legs well thats another story.

When I was 28 weeks pregnant i took a pretty bad fall. I bruised my knee and cut my hand bad. I was sent to labor and delivery EVERYTHING WAS FINE. you will be too

Oh lord have I?! About a week and a half ago I was outside with my girls when I heard the phone ringing inside. Forgetting all about the pregnancy, I went RUNNING into my house. Well, my flip flops were wet, and I went flying into my ceramic tile kitchen floor like I was sliding into home plate. I had had my 20 wk. OB appt. that morning, but I didn't bother calling back or anything...in fact, I pretty much laughed at myself. Everything's fine--baby's moving around like crazy!

Oh no...just read the update as I replied. I hope everything's OK! I had a bleeding episode unrelated to anything around 9 weeks...all turned out well!

You are prob fine from the fall since you caught yourself...and didnt land on your belly.
Dont panic about the spotting, that can be normal too. It most likely is unrelated and just random spotting.
Is it a lot or just like a dab? When I was 10 weeks I had Bright Red Spotting One day, I was totally freaked out but all was FINE with the LO!
Also, you are on progesterone, right? Sometimes that can cause some spotting b.c it irritates the cervix or you have a broken blood vessles. That was what they thought was the cause of my spotting.
Dont get upset. Just stay calm and call your Dr.

thanks everyone, I just can't stop shaking and crying. I'm predicting the worst already. I just can't help it. I can't even bare to go to the bathroom anymore.

As long as you are fine, the baby should be fine too. He/she is well protected in there. The bleeding may be totally unrelated. Try to stay calm. What did the RE say????

Just try to remember that even with the spotting, the odds are in your favor. for you that it's nothing!

Im praying that everything is just fine!!! I totally underdstand how you feel but try to stay calm if you can! It might be nothing at all!! Please keep us updated and I will continue to pray that everything is perfect!!! are you still bleeding?

When I was 33 weeks, I fell down a flight of stairs and had to go to L&D for monitoring. Both the baby and I were fine and I'm sure you and your LO one will be also. Hopefully the spotting is unrelated.

Thank you everyone. I'm still bleeding. Do you think I would have anything to gain if I went to the ER tonight? Or should I just wait for the dr in the morning? Can they stop anything from happening if I go sooner?

I fell getting off an airplane at 28 weeks (I had to walk down the stairs to the cement and I was watching my bag being unloaded from the plane).
The Dr wasn't concerned about the baby since I didn't fall on my stomach. They were concerned about my ankle though which I twisted pretty badly.
Tomorrow will be here before you know it!
