Announcing Pregnancy
I'm finally letting the cat out of the bag to friends and family this weekend at our labor day party. I went last week for the genetics testing and got half the results back. The ultrasound came back normal with the size of neck and growth of baby. Im still waiting for the blood results.
I'm nervous about announcing now incase I receive bad news. Would this deter you from telling everyone? I'm 26 so I'm not a higher risk with my age and we have no family history of any such disorders.

Announcing Pregnancy
I have my 12 week sono and tests on the 10th and plan to share the news starting on the 12th (if all is good). I'll be 35 this month and did have a loss at 8weeks earlier this year but I think ypu will be fine. G-dforbid something is wrong you'll want family and friends support anyway.

I shared right away. The tests you took are screenings and even if God forbid something comes up wrong it doesn't mean it is. So I wouldn't depend on those test for anything.

Re: Announcing Pregnancy
I had a positive screen on my triple screen blood tests with my first.
After that, I waited as long as humanly possible to announce every pregnancy. Explaining a pregnancy may not be viable to cousins, etc is not easy or fun.
As for immediate family (my mom & dad), I let them know at the positive preg test.
