Civil Service Tests
Are civil service tests worth taking? Ive been hearing from a lot of people that it is a waste of time and money. They claim the jobs go to people with connections. Has anyone ever gotten the job from a test?

Civil Service Tests
A friend of mine did. But she scored the third best on the test and was "known" in the industry she took the test for, so I'm sure that helped.

Civil Service Tests
I got a job offer this week from the clerk/typist test. It was the 3rd interview I went on. It took almost 2 years to get a decent amount of letters so don't expect it to happen quickly. I had an 85%. They send out canvas letters to the highest scores first.
