measuring cervix
hi ladies,
hope everyone is feeling good!
i'll be 14 weeks this weekend and i'm expecting twins. i'm having my cervix measured on saturday. is this anything to be concerned about?

not unless it measures short. I feel like with multiples this is probably common to measure it that early.
With Hailey they measured me at 12w, but not again till 20.
Now they didnt measure mine for the first time until 20w

No I think measuring the cervix is very common. My MFM dr. did it at my 10 week scan. They will tell you if anything is wrong.

Yeah they will do an internal sonogram.

Internal sono is the only way to get an accurate measurement

I have no idea if they measured mine, though it's entirely possible that they did during the sonograms. I know they were keeping an eye on the placement of my placenta, as I had placenta previa until mid-way through, and it was still very low-lying until about 33/34 weeks.
