Measuring cervix after Level II
Did you doc measure at the following appt. 4 weeks later? Should I ask for it, or is it routine? TIA

Re: Measuring cervix after Level II
They've checked mine every time I have a sono which has been about every 8 weeks or so. She hasn't ever given me a measurement, but tells me it looks great. I'm happy with that.

Re: Measuring cervix after Level II
with my 1st pregnancy they never checked my cervix till they did internals but they were not worried about preterm labor - i had no warning signs to intdicate it was necessary
with my twin pregnancy they checked it at 20, 22, 24, and 28 - at 28 they were not woried anymore

Re: Measuring cervix after Level II
ok thanks ladies.. i'll be 26 weeks at my next appt. at my Level 2, I was measuring well.. just curious this one is going to go. At my last appt, she measured my belly for the first time.. with standard stuff and now with 2nd trimester coming to an end, I was wondering if there would be a change or something.. thank u again..

Re: Measuring cervix after Level II
I go in bi-weekly for a cervical length check, but I had pre-term labor with my 1st and always had a shortened cervix. It's not common and if you don't have risk factors there is no reason to.
