Spent yesterday in L&D
So I had my first trip to L&D yesterday for this pregnancy anyway. I was crampy and having BH. They wouldnt stop and were coming pretty frequently so I emailed my OB. He told me to drink a liter of fluid, rest and if it was still the same in an hour I had to go to the hospital. Well a half hour and a liter of fluid later they were coming every 3 min so we headed to the hospital.
I was put on the monitor and sure enough I was having consistent contractions. They checked me and did a sono and thank god my cervix was long and closed! Baby weighed in at 2lbs 10oz. They gave me a jug of water to drink and kept me on the monitor. I was still having contractions but they weren't getting stronger or closer. So they checked me again a few hours later and since my cervix was unchanged they sent me home around 10pm last night.
It was scary bc I am only 27w 5d but thankfully the baby gets to stay put! I'm home relaxing today. DH took off and is taking care of DS and DD.

We have the same due date so this is so scary!! But I'm glad to hear everything was okay! Try to rest up as much as possible!!

I know! It is scary! I was so relieved when they said I wasn't dilating! I had a crazy busy week so I'm hoping I just over did it. Definitely going to slow down. Well as much as I can with a 3yo and 2yo!!!
