Short Boots
Yay or Nay on these?
I want something comfortable and warm to wear on the weekends with jeans and sweaters .....
I'm not a fan of the riding boots over skinny jeans look - it's like the uniform of every woman in my town

I think they are cool. Like kind of bad asss 
I also am not a fan of riding boots. Mainly because they are flat and I don't do flats. At all. Period.
And also because that "uniform" you described is SO not my style.
And I like to march to a differrent drum than the masses
I usually wear ankle boots with my skinny jeans or more of a dressy heeled tall boot.
But for casual, yes, these would be great

Short Boots
I like them. They are a little "tough" for my style, so I don't think I could pull them off, (I would be a little self-conscious wearing them) but they are the kind of thing I would see someone wearing and think to myself, "those look really cool! "

hmm, they come in brown too
I probably should have gotten brown -
I wear a lot of navy ........but I wear a lot of black too ........
Oh well, I can exchange them. First lets see if they fit my insanely high instep !!

I like them. I have a similar pair but mine are a little "tougher" and more moto lol. I have been over the skinny jeans/riding boot thing you described for a few years now so I totally know what you mean.
