Cost of windows
Our house was built in 1959- and the windows in the house are from 1959 anyways we knew this going in and set aside money to replace them. I had someone come and measure and give an estimate- I have 15 windows to replace 12 out of the 15 will be new 3 (in the front in a large picture window) will be replacements. I was quoted $8500 for the Windows and instillation. Is this a reasonable price?
Edit: I should add that these are NorthEast windows that are energy star and 5 need a custom fit due to the odd sizes in the bedroom

We got a quote from Andersen Windows and it was basically $1100 a window for new windows.
