Im in so much pain.....

since beginning of dec I have had a recurring issue with one of my teeth. I cant chew on my left side, well anything harder than a muffin or banana. I"ve been to the dentist 3 times since then, the last being right before xmas. I thought with the last visit (a filling on the back molar came off) it was fixed, but something is exposed somewhere in that area. I have teeth throbbing, jaw pain, ear pain off and on, neck, headaches..all on that side. I just had a full set of xrays in NOV, so I feel like if a root canal was needed wouldnt the dentist have seen this?? or do these things come on that quickly??

Unfortunately for me the dentist is moving and spent last week packing and settles on the new location today. So she wont be back until next week.
I have an appt with an endodontist tomorrow night. it was the best appt I could get since everyone was off most of last week.

i havent been able to eat well in a month now.

and b/c I started IVF stims on saturday I cant take any aleve or advil. only Tylenol. and that does jacksh*T for me. FML.

Oh my gosh, I hope tomorrow night's appointment is a step in the right direction of being pain free!

are you positive it is a tooth issue? My DH had all the same pain issues and he swore it was a tooth issue but ended up with sinus issues.

im pretty sure its my tooth. its the same tooth the dentist fixed the filling on. or at least that area. like i feel the pain in the tooth. :(

It's possible the dentist drilled too close to the root. Feel better!

Ugh! I hate tooth pain! Ask for an antibiotic too!

Also, I think you can take Tylenol. It's safe after the BFP you'll be getting.

I cannot believe this. the dentist called and cancelled b/c her mom is in the hospital. ******* Really?? I waited all week for this appt. my dentist is moving. now the specialist is unavailable.

I totally get family emergencies happen. just my luck.

the pain has subsided somewhat, but I still cant chew on that side.

I'll have to leave a message with the dentist tomorrow and see if there is an associate that can take me as an emergency somewhere.
