Gummy Prenatal
Ok I tried to do the regular prenatals, but I just can't do it. I gag just putting them in my mouth, I tried cutting them up to make them smaller but that didn't help.
My OB said that I could do the gummy prenatals which I have, but wasn't sure if anyone had any recommendations for gummies. I've read that they aren't AS GOOD as regular prenatals so i just want to make sure that i'm getting enough of what i need.
TIA!

I take the VitaFusion Gummies with DHA and Folic Acid. I showed those specifically to my OB and she said they were fine. Plus they are damn delicious.

I asked my OB about that and she said it's fine. When they do your GD test between 24 weeks and 28 weeks, they also test for iron deficiency. She said if at that point she sees a deficiency, she'll recommend whether or not to take an iron supplement. I know iron supplements can be killer on your stomach so I'm guessing she didn't want to make it worse than it already is with just being pregnant.

Gummy Prenatal
I used to take gummies but when I asked my doctor, she said the ones I was taking didn't have the amount of DHA that was recommended (200 mg). I wasn't able to find a gummy vitamin that had enough DHA so switched to a pill.

I agree! I take it after dinner to get a bit of sweetness and ward off dessert.

Re: Gummy Prenatal
I take the First Response brand gummies. When I was pregnant with DS I had an impossible time taking the regular prenatals and I ended up stopping them just a few weeks into the pregnancy because I couldn't keep them down. I started the gummies during my last pregnancy and I've had no issues with them at all. In fact, they're pretty delicious
