Fear the Walking Dead
Is anyone watching the 2nd season?
I actually don't like the show, but my DH still does so i've begrudgingly watched the first 2 episodes with him and spend most of the time dissing it 
curious if anyone else likes it or thinks its a poor comparison to the original (the acting... awful)

I absolutely HATED the first season, I gave up on the last 2-3 episodes because I thought it was so bad. Boring, horrible characters and stupid plot lines. I am not even bothering with season 2.

Fear the Walking Dead
I'm watching and I like the alternate version of what people would do right after the outbreak (is water safer or an island safer, etc). It definitely moved slowly and they seem to have a hard time writing characters people care about, but I'm intrigued by Strand.

I know its slow but I keep holding on..waiting. I am hoping by next week it picks up. I'm also guessing they will run into the airlplane that went down.

last night's episode was so boring. I don't love it but keep watching to see if they explain things more or if maybe there's a connection eventually to walking

Fear the Walking Dead
I watch it but not in the same way I watch TWD.
I find everyone on this show to have the personality of wet oatmeal. Madison and Travis have zero chemistry to me. No one meshes. The only intriguing person to me is Nick and that's simply bc he seems like a natural in the zombie apocalypse.
I didn't even care that the girl died and ate her mother. I have no attachment.
But I'm watching as something to do on Sunday night. I'm actually interested in the chick from the plane for next week.

Did you watch Talking Dead? They showed a clip for next week's episode - the boat group in what looks like a desert area and seeing walkers coming over a hill. *I* didn't recognize any of the walkers, but Chris Hardwick read a tweet that said they recognized them as the people on the airplane.

I 100% agree on all accounts. Also, the woman who plays Madison seems like a bore IRL too. She was on the Talking Dead after this week's episode and honestly she contributed nothing at all to the show.

I swore I'd give it three episodes to 'get' me...
So I'll watch on Sunday...for what I'm sure is the last time. I have a feeling I've just lost three hours of my life I'll never get back on something that bores me to absolute tears.

I love the walking dead, but I'm not watching fear the walking dead this year. The main characters are so unlikeable, I find that I don't even care what happens to them. Also I felt like they got jaded so quickly. Rick et al were screwed over multiple times before they became equally jaded

If you watched this past episode, you'd realize that the only ones that are jaded are Strand, the druggie son, and the ex-military Hispanic dad. Everyone else is shocked that Strand doesn't want to help people they come across.
