Help! Crock Pot Newbie
I just got a crock pot and found some easy recipes. I really want to try a BBQ ribs recipe I found online.
For those that have made this before... do the ribs need to go into the crock pot frozen or defrosted already? Does it matter? Recipe didn't mention either way.
Thanks for helping this newbie!

Doesn't matter, just adjust the cooking times accordingly.

Re: Help! Crock Pot Newbie
You can do both but I prefer defrosted because if not, the ice or whatever off of the meat melts into my crockpot and my recipe usually ends up watery. Also, don't forget to get a liner! It's a lifesaver with crockpots! :)

I always defrost my meat before putting it in the crockpot.
