Christmas Eve menu/help
I need everyone's expertise!
This is my Christmas Eve menu
Appetizers: Antipasto platter Baked clams Shrimp cocktail Cocktail meatballs Pigs in blankets
Lobster ravioli
Salad
Dinner: Mussels marinara Shrimp scampi Chicken franchese Veal parm Linguine with clams Penne in red sauce Grilled veggies
I need recipes for the meatballs and chicken franchese (I'm not married to the franchese I could do something g different just nothing with red sauce and no Marsala)
Does this seem like a good variety? Anything I should add? Was contemplating adding mini crab cakes for appetizers.

Check out my blog, I have a recipe for Whiskey BBQ Cocktail Meatballs that are awesome!! They are always A HUGE hit. If you don't want to do the Chicken Franchese, check out my recipe for Chicken Lombardi. It's so good!! It has mozzarella, prosciutto, and a wine sauce. Yummy.

Re: Christmas Eve menu/help
I think your menu sounds great, however, I don't think you need to add the Mini Crab Cakes. If anything, I would replace that with something like maybe Pigs in the Blanket. But definitely don't need to add to it.
How many people are you having?

Yes I was going to say, that sounds like a TON of food. I would definitely cut the ravioli. But everything sounds delish!!!

Re: Christmas Eve menu/help
Sounds like a great menu! You can def cut out the ravioli if you already have 2 other kinds of pasta.

Great menu!
Cocktail meatballs are super easy. I throw the meatballs into the crockpot with a jar of grape jelly and a jar of chili sauce. Cook on low for a few hours. Done. Easy peasy and SO delicious.
