We will be at Disney Aug. 21-28. Wondering if doing the Not So Scary Halloween on 8/24 would be worth it for us. DD will be 4 y/o then. Wondering if it's worth the extra $250 for the 3 of us...

We will be there at the same time and considered going with our 5 and 7 year olds. We ultimately decided against it, figuring our kids will probably be DONE by the time it actually starts, especially because we planned on getting to the park early that day. We are thinking we’d do it one day when the kids are a little older.

Yes.
Don’t book park that day.
Go instead of going to park. I would not do both.
Those parties are worth every $1 except if your kid falls asleep at 7.
Unless you are going in a holiday, lines are really short and you can see and do a lot in little time.

Thank you for the replies. More to think about lol. We won't really care about the ToT part because DD has so many allergies that she can't eat the candy anyway but was curious if we should do it anyway. August seems so early for Halloween though.

we're going in December with our 8 and 5 year olds and doing the christmas party for the first time. we debated doing it, because not sure the boys will hang that late. BUT you can get into magic kingdom at 4 with the party ticket... SO we're just treating that as our magic kingdom day. we're gonna spend the morning low-key, just hanging out around our hotel... then head over around 3:30 or so to use our party tickets. its a lot of money- for us, its a "must do once" kind of thing. Christmas is the only time of year i haven't been to disney, so to me its a "lets just go for it" kind of thing. i think its different for every family though....

We did the party in August too and still had a great time! You get to meet different characters that you normally wouldn't meet and lines are generally shorter. I would just rest up and relax in pool/resort that day and head to MK around 4pm. You'll have so much fun!

We’ve done it and it’s great - a lot more empty.

They do have special bags of candy for children with allergies at guest services.
