Aruba- Marriott
Hi, quick question...
So I posted not too long ago about your favorite tropical island, and I think we've narrowed it down to Aruba . So excited! I've heard from multiple people that the Marriott there is nice/kid-friendly, so we're leaning towards that.
Which Marriott?? Lol, there seem to be several that pop up when I'm doing my research. Has anyone stayed at a Marriott there? Would you recommend it? TIA

I think the Surf Club is more kid friendly because of the lazy river. I've stayed at the Ocean Club which is right next door. That was nice too. I wasn't crazy about the location. It's all the way at the end of the high rise strip. But the room was great because we had tons of space.
We love Aruba!

My Inlaws have a timeshare at the OCean Club. Yes, Surf is more kid friendly, but you can go there. My opinion is Surf is HUGE. Way too big and I love Ocean better bc it's not as huge. You can go over to Surf club or the hotel as well and just charge to your room. I also like Ocean rooms better. JMO Yes, Ocean is more of an older crowd, but the beach isn't as crowded and neither is the pool. There is plenty to do for kids. Everything is within walking distance too. Nice to have a kitchen too and bring snacks and make lunches too. Don't think you can go wrong with either. Everyone who's been to Surf loves it. Just way too big for me and still fun to use,

We stayed at the Marriott Stellaris for a wedding--the wedding was at the hotel and we had a group of around 60 people all stay there. DD was 2 at the time. We didn't have any complaints.

Thank you! We booked the Surf Club...the lazy river sold me. I know the kids will love it. The only thing is the cancellation policy sucks, but hopefully we won't have to worry about that {fingers crossed}!

You're gonna have so much fun. My boys went down the slide about 100 times. It's nice too bc you can eat at any of the Marriots there and they are all next to each other and put it on the room. Also, if you're staying long enough get the room key bracelet. It's worth it than having to worry about carrying around your key. Go food shopping first day for snacks and even some lunches. Bring cooler bags with you so you can pack up from the room and not have to go back and forth so much.

Re: Aruba- Marriott
Aruba Marriott was beautiful compared to a lot of the other resorts. We stayed at the ocean club.

Lazy River got me, too! I just bookmarked the hotel for our vacation next year.
