Femara & OPKS

Can femara mess up the results of OPKS? I’ve never had an issue with opks, I ovulate very regularly on my own and have very regular periods. I recently had surgery to remove my stage III endometriosis and my doctor put me on femara to help increase my chances. He told me to use opks with it but I got about 4 days worth of flashing smileys and then it went back to a blank circle. What gives?

If you're on a medicated cycle, you should be monitored so you don't have to use OPKs.

could just be you didn’t have a surge this month. Sometimes you skip O

My drs always had me using OPKs
There were a few months during all of it that I never got my surge and blood proved no O. It happens

Keep taking them though. You could have been gearing up to surge and then didn’t happen. Can still happen - that was the case for me sometimes as well. Also I found tohe smiley ones to be so damn expensive. So what I would do is use the cheapie ones on amazon and as soon as it seems to be positive it almost there, I’d switch to the smileys. Just a $ saver for me
