Cezanne Keratin
I recently had Cezanne Keratin done to my hair, a keratin treatment that does not use formaldehyde. I was advised to use the Cezanne shampoo and conditioner, but the conditioner smells HORRIBLE, it leaves a lingering chemical odor in my hair.
Can anyone recommend a good keratin safe conditioner that won't strip the process out of my hair ? Thanks !

Cezanne Keratin
I use Living Proof Smells so good! I also use Keratin Complex Both are safe to use after keratin treatments (I get it done every 4 months) IMO the keratin complex smells better Ulta carries both brands:)

Thank you. I actually contacted the company about their products and it is not the conditioner that smells horrible, it is the residue on my hair after the treatment. Even DH was like what the heck is that awful smell. Not sure if I want to do this again. I find my hair to be too flat and my curls are no longer defined, they've turned into waves. I'm an 80's girl, I like big hair.

I always hate how my hair looks for about a week after the treatment...it’s a shock to your hair even with no formaldehyde. Give it some time and it should bounce back. It won’t be as full but you will see what I mean. Mine usually smells like what my girl uses for a few washes and like you I hate it! It goes away I promise

LOL, I was ready to use dishwashing soap to strip this stuff out of my hair. I'll give it a few more washes. Only good thing is that it stripped the color out of my hair and I was able to dye it one shade lighter. Been meaning to go a bit lighter, now I've got highlights that I didn't have to pay extra for.

If you really really hate it wash a few times with a clarifying shampoo but give it some time you to see if you like it. The first week or so I will throw my hair in a pony lol I have super frizzy wavy half curly hair so for my it’s life changing! I wash and let it mostly air dry and I’ll use a curling iron on the ends to give it some bounce if that makes sense..but it’s never ever frizzy even in this summer crazy humid days I hope you end up loving it :)
