Polar Express

I'm looking for the best polar express within driving distance. I want to book it early because I hear they sell out. We're in eastern Suffolk, so a ferry ride to CT might be more convenient than the ones in NJ or PA, but I'm willing to drive if those ones are better.

There’s a north fork polar express from the Riverhead train station to greenport train station. I think there is a Southampton one too...

We love the north fork one! My sisters did the one in kington and also in CT somewhere, but my mom went to those and said they weren't as good as the north fork one. She said it was b/c the other polar express rides keep the kids on the train for the entire event, and they don't get to really have one on one time with Santa. She also said all the little ones got antsy on those rides. On the north fork one, the kids get to step off the trolley and walk into the "north pole" (a barn that they decorate to look like santa land). When you're inside the north pole you have a dance party with the elves and you get to meet Santa one at a time and take a photo with him

We’re doing the one in Whippany, NJ this year. We were going to do the one on the North Fork but wanted the train experience.
