Best way to book last minute NYC hotel
I want to book a hotel for tomorrow night. I am shocked how expensive it is. It wasn't like this last year. Maybe I just got lucky last year. Where is the best place to look for last minute hotel at decent price? Will just be in the hotel to sleep and shower the following morning.

There is an app called Hotel Tonight.
Try that for same day prices.
The thing with the prices is it's all based on occupancy... if they are super booked up the prices are outrageous and then the same room can go for dirt cheap the next night.
You can also try Priceline- they have same day deals and express deals etc
Express deals on priceline are usually way cheaper- but you won't know the hotel until you book.
You'll know the area and the star rating and more importantly the avg customer rating.
