Sweet potato fries
Has anybody tried making sweet potato fries without getting soggy? Would an air frier work? If yes, what brand do u recommend?

Re: Sweet potato fries
I recently got the Gourmia Air Fryer and it works great. The clean up is easy. My sister was saying the same thing about her Air Fryer, that it was a pain to clean. Mine isn’t hard at all. I also use spray butter/oil.
I made empanadas, Chicken tenders, baked potato, cauliflower bites and Nashville Hot Chicken sandwiches. The clean up is so easy and there is no extra grease or sogginess. The only drawback, it’s big. Still trying to figure out where to put it. I don’t have a lot of counter space and don’t want to leave it out, but it’s worth it.

Sweet potato fries
I buy sweet potato tater tots in the frozen section and bake them in the oven and they're not soggy.

I was having a chat with my family about this and they were saying the same thing. The one I have, has a non-stick fryer basket and tray. I think that is why its so easy to clean. We remove the bottom basket and tray, and wash like a regular non-stick pan. Its been working great.

Re: Sweet potato fries
I make them myself. I buy whole sweet potatoes, and cut them up into thin strips. I sprinkle a little olive oil on a baking sheet and sprinkle sea salt and bake.

Re: Sweet potato fries
I have the Philips air fryer and I love it. I followed the skinny taste sweet potato fry recipe and they came out great.
