Can little leagues be fined for breaking the rules?
Let me first say I am all for sports to start for kids. Not against it at all and think they should be able to start now!!
Now with that said I find it crazy that all these leagues for these sports are starting already! Arent they afraid of getting in trouble.
Having full practices I even heard some leagues football practice is starting next week!
I may be incorrect but I though no sports are supposed to start to July 6th and I know that football among other high risk sports are limited on what they can even do.
Just wondering can these leagues be fined for starting early and not following rules ?

Can little leagues be fined for breaking the rules?
I think a lot of parents are “organizing” instead of coaches

I don't know of any little leagues that have started but, I know travel teams have started practicing.

They’ve been practicing multiple days a week “unofficially” in my town.

Re: Can little leagues be fined for breaking the rules?
I’m in CT and we just started this week. Our town is doing mostly games with minimal practices so far. The kids were able to do about an hour of hitting and throwing the day before their first game, but that was the only practice they had. The rules are pretty stringent for before, during and after the game for players, coaches and spectators, but I don’t think the parents all adhered to the spectator limit at the first game. I wonder how much certain rules will be enforced.

My son's travel baseball has been practicing. Parents have to drop them off. At games, they said only 2 spectators per child. My son's dek hockey is starting the end of July and only 1 spectator at games (so upset, because I love going :()

We're also travel baseball and same here.
Baseball was on the list of low contact youth sports that could start in Phase 3. So no one is breaking any rules.
Our league starts games 7/6, so two days before phase 4. The owner of our organization just listed all the precautions and I feel comfortable. (And we've been on the conservative side throughout all of this.)
